Certain medications, including some controlled substances, may not be appropriate or legally permissible to prescribe through telemedicine and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with federal and Florida law.

If this is the best option for you, we will help coordinate a referral to a specialist. Treatment decisions are made on an individual basis in accordance with current clinical guidelines and applicable laws.

If an antibiotic is medically appropriate, it can often be prescribed during your telemedicine appointment. We'll carefully evaluate your symptoms, medical history, and, when appropriate, recommend testing to determine whether an antibiotic is the right treatment.

If your condition requires an in-person examination or additional testing before treatment can be safely recommended, we'll discuss the next steps and help guide you to the appropriate level of care.
